Styles&Wood Group officially joins forces with Southerns Group
Styles&Wood Group plc (S&W), the integrated property services and project delivery specialist, has now officially joined forces with Southerns Group, through Central Square Holdings Limited (CSHL) after S&W’s shares ceased trading on the London Stock Exchange.
Following the announcement in December 2017 and the approved shareholder vote in February, S&W has formally delisted from the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and has become part of CSHL, along with Southerns Group.
Combining forces through CSHL opens a new chapter for both organisations, bringing significant growth opportunities and establishing an enlarged group, with enhanced capabilities and credible reach across the full spectrum of property support services to the built environment.
Tony Lenehan, Chief Executive of the new group, commented:
“Today officially opens a new chapter for S&W and Southerns Group. The combination of both businesses creates a truly unique offering within the property services market. We believe our new group will bring exciting times for everyone involved and benefits to our customers, employees, and partners.”
Shore Capital acted as financial adviser to S&W in relation to the transaction, whilst Hill Dickinson acted as legal adviser to the Group. Numis acted as financial adviser to CSHL in respect of the Offer. Pinsent Masons acted as legal adviser, whilst KPMG advised CSHL on debt advisory and due diligence.
